Welcome to 52 Weeks of Fun. We are committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you visit our website, how we use it (primarily for anonymous analytics), and the limited controls available.
We collect limited, non-personal information to improve our service and provide anonymous analytics to Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs - tourism promotion agencies) about visitor engagement with their attractions. The information we collect includes:
We do not collect any personal information that can identify you as an individual. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifiable information for site analytics.
The information we collect is used exclusively for:
We will never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Aggregated analytics may be shared with DMOs to help them understand engagement trends, but this data is not linkable to individual users.
We do not use cookies or tracking pixels for analytics. We also do not use third-party advertising trackers. Site analytics rely primarily on server-side logs, short-lived client-side beacons (to report time on page), and aggregated counts.
To report time on page, your browser may send a small anonymous beacon when you leave a page; this payload only contains a duration (seconds) and the identifier of the page-view record — it does not contain personal data.
We collect IP addresses to determine your approximate geographic location (country, region, and city). This helps us understand where our visitors are coming from and allows Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) to see which regions are interested in their destinations. IP addresses are used only for geolocation and rate heuristics and are not published or sold. We store location data in aggregated form; IP addresses are not retained in a way that can directly identify individual users for analytics purposes.
We automatically detect and filter out automated bots, web crawlers, and search engine indexing robots from our analytics to ensure accurate visitor statistics. Detection occurs both at request time using header and rate heuristics, and via periodic server-side scans that match user agent patterns and mark older records when appropriate.
If you are an admin you can trigger or view bot-scan results in the admin UI (the system records scan runs and matched counts).
We use IP geolocation services to determine your approximate location based on your IP address. These services do not receive any other information about you.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we collect. We retain analytics data for as long as necessary to provide the service and to support DMOs; aggregated summaries are stored indefinitely. If you are an admin you may truncate analytics data via the admin UI for a selected date range (this permanently deletes those records).
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Since we do not collect personal information that can identify you, there is no personal data for you to access, modify, or delete as an individual. The analytics data we collect is aggregated and anonymous. If you have concerns about how your visit is represented in our analytics, you may contact us at the address below and we will review options (for example, we can remove records for a particular date range upon request by an administrator).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
