Pine Point County Park Campground


Pine Point Campground and Day Park is wooded throughout. Located on a peninsula, it is surrounded on three sides by Lake Holcombe, in Chippewa and Rusk Counties. The campground sits lakeside offering scenic views of the flowage used for boating, swimming, and fishing. It has a maximum depth of 62 feet, and fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Sturgeon, and Catfish. Several sites have lake frontage with docks, which are additional charges. The park is located 2.5 miles west of the intersection of County Highway M and Highway 27. The campground has 48 sites.

The Day Park is available for the public and campground guests. A beach with a swimming area, playground equipment, picnic pavilion, grills, and picnic tables are all available for your enjoyment! The pavilion at Pine Point is available for reservation per day for $15.00 without electricity and $22.00 with the electricity turned on. Pavilion building measures 35’ x 25’ and holds approximately 75 people. The pavilion includes picnic tables and garbage cans.

Pine Point Campground is generally open from the first week in May through the last week in October. Reservations open the first working day of the year at 8:00 AM and run from May through mid-September. Parks remain open through the end of October. From mid-September through October, self-registration camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Check-in time is 1:00 pm and check-out time is 1:00 pm.
