Ninigret Park is on the site of an area originally developed as a naval air training base. Vestiges of the former base are evident throughout the current facilities, including portions of pavement from runways, service areas, and access roads.

Attraction Advice

The tennis courts at Ninigret Park in Charlestown, Rhode Island are open from 8 AM until sunset and are first come, first served. The courts are closed to the public during Charlestown Recreation Department tennis programs. There is no use fee.
