California State Parks manages the campgrounds within this area.

Some of the most popular attractions within the park are the Stout Grove, a pristine stand of old-growth redwoods accessible via a short, scenic trail, and the Simpson-Reed Grove, an easily accessible, interpretive trail that winds through some of the largest and tallest trees in the park. Attraction Advice

Redwood National and State Parks is accessible year-round. The Crescent City Visitors Center of Redwood National and State Parks is open daily year-round from 9 AM to 5 PM. There is no admission fee to enter the national park and many areas of the state parks. Access to the day-use area of the Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park Campground costs $8 per vehicle per day fee.
