A 52 Weeks of Fun Fascinating Fact about Fish Lake Valley Hot Springs

Fish Lake Valley Hot Springs, also known as "Hotbox," was discovered in 1970 by Fish Lake Power Company. Thirteen wells were drilled to discover oil fields. The hot water was found instead in one of the wells.

Attraction Advice

Fish Lake Hot Well is managed by Esmeralda County and is free and open to the public year-round. Free camping and RVing are allowed in the area.
